This event is extremely dear to my heart, as it's a fundraiser for one of the greatest champions of the Canadian folk scene - Andy Frank. Andy is the co-founder of Roots Music Canada and a huge music fan and supporter. Now it's our turn to support Andy - he's recently been diagnosed with cancer and needs to take some time to focus on whooping it. A bunch of Andy's favourite musicians will be performing in his honour and raising money to help cover his costs while he recovers. Other performers include: Layah Jane, Suzie Vinnick, Bill Garrett & Curly Boy Stubbs, Jay Aymar, Rob Szabo, Crabtree & Mills, Jon Brooks, Rosemary Phelan, Annabelle Chvostek, Grit Laskin, and Kirsten Jones, with the evening hosted by David Newland of Roots Music Canada.
